Domestic abuse is often viewed solely as a personal issue, but its impact extends far beyond the home. It affects workplaces, leadership, organisational culture and business performance, yet one critical part of the conversation is often missing: understanding perpetrators.

Join us for the next Breaking the Silence Forum, delivered in partnership with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), as we explore why understanding perpetrator behaviour is essential to preventing abuse and reducing risk within organisations.

Conversations about domestic abuse rightly focus on supporting survivors. However, lasting change also requires us to examine the behaviours, systems and cultures that enable abuse to continue. This session will challenge common misconceptions about perpetrators, explore the role of leadership and accountability, and consider why organisations have a responsibility to recognise and respond to abusive behaviour.

This will be an honest, thought-provoking discussion that doesn't shy away from difficult conversations. While the topic is challenging, the message is clear: there is a way forward. By increasing awareness, recognising risk and equipping leaders with the confidence to act, organisations can play a vital role in preventing harm and creating safer workplaces.
